Mr. Levan Todua was appointed as the Head of the Deposit Insurance Agency of Georgia in September, 2022 for the 5year term. He has more than 20 years of working experience at the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. His working experience started from Senior Specialist of the Internal Audit Department, Treasury Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia and ended with Head of the State Loans and Deposit Operations Department, Treasury Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. Mr. Todua has managerial experience for 18 years in the Treasury Service. During his career life, Mr. Todua has gained diverse experience of working with international organizations. While working at the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, he was member of TCOP (Treasury Community of Practice) Executive Committee of PEMPAL (Public Expenditure Management Peer-Assisted Learning network).

Mr. Todua earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (1999-2003) and Master’s Degree in Finance and Banking Specialty at Georgian State University (2003-2005).
