Gianluca Grasso

Mr. Gianluca Grasso is the Head of Risk Analysis and Interventions Management of the Italian deposit guarantee scheme, the Interbank Deposit Protection Fund – FITD.

He joined FITD in 2014 and from the very beginning was engaged in the modelling of the risk-based contribution mechanism of member banks to the deposit guarantee scheme.

Since 2016 he has managed FITD interventions in favour of member banks and contributed to development and monitoring of restructuring plans and relaunch initiatives of banks receiving FITD support.

He has extensive experience in statistical and economic analysis of the Italian banking system and is involved in national and international fora on the regulatory framework on crisis management and deposit insurance.

Mr. Gianluca Grasso has a degree in Economics and Finance (2011) and a Master’s degree in General management and Finance (2014) from Luiss Guido Carli University (Italy).
