Mr. Baatarsuren Sukhbaatar is the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Mongolia (DICOM). Appointed in May 2021, Mr. Sukhbaatar has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the DICOM from his extensive background in financial risk management in the banking sector.

Before taking on his current role at DICOM, Mr. Sukhbaatar served in several key positions in Mongolia's financial sector. From January 2019 to May 2020, he headed the Financial Risk Division of the Development Bank of Mongolia. Prior to this, he held the position of Supervisor at the Central Bank of Mongolia from August 2014 to September 2016.

In June 2022, he expanded his career when he was appointed as the Chairperson of the Eurasia Regional Committee. His leadership at this committee has been marked by his sharp understanding of regional dynamics and a strong commitment to fostering growth and development.

Mr. Sukhbaatar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Finance and Economics of Mongolia and Master of Business Administration in Finance degree from California State University.
